Killruddery House and Gardens

Killruddery House is located just south of Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. It is very near to the Little Sugar Loaf Mountain in Bray. This very great place was rebuilt in 1651 since the original house was burned six years earlier. The 2nd Earl of Meath built the house and it has been under the family for years.

Here's the view of the house from The Tearoom. Their tea room serves freshly baked bead like scones. They also have homemade jam which to my taste is really delicious.

The tour to the house is available by appointment or during the months of July, August and September from 1 pm to 4 pm. Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to see what's inside but we had a peek of what can be seen inside The Orangery.

During our trip there, there are people setting up The Orangery for a certain event. Yes, you can actually rent a certain location in the Kilruddery House and Gardens to hold a very important event. I can imagine how romantic and magically it could be with such lovely location and view.

More pictures coming up featuring the garden all around the house.

Love and Marriage

Being married for more than thirteen years does not make me an expert to relationship and family. But it is certain that those years made me the better person I am now and I hope that it is the same with my husband. I personally believe that keeping your marriage healthy, sparkling and smooth boils down to open communication and plain understanding. Aside from these two factors, there are other ways to keep you tied up to the man or woman you say "I Do". According to  Merriam- Webster  Dictionary, "Marriage is  the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law".
