Music Everywhere

When we're having vacation either out of town or out of the country, we see to it that we'll have time to walk around the town. We love to see the city life in each place we visit.

The interesting part is that there's always someone playing instrument or singing in the streets. One time when we visited a place called Dun Laoghaire, we caught a group of young to middle age men who plays different instruments like violas, drums, trumphet and piano. They are very good especially the one playing the violin.

The presence of these talented performers everywhere strengtens my observation that music plays a big part in our lives.

Let me quote Billy Joel on his statement about music,
I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music.

  1. I sometimes stop to listen to them too :) it's a joy listening to them play their music for free, and marveling at their talents.

  2. I love seeing musician in the streets as well. The last time that we saw one was when we went to Pittsburgh, my son asked for some money so he could give it to the old man who playinbg an instrument.

  3. It only proves that French people are really music lovers.

  4. My best friend in high school, an exchange student from Oregon, played the viola. She actually got a full-ride scholarship at Brigham Young University because of her talent, and eventually joined an orchestra.

  5. I remember when I went to this certain mall, there was this group of blind people who were singing and they are in the corner. they really sing so nice and the listeners can even request for a song that they will sing. It's really nice to see and hear some live music.

  6. I'm always amazed by the street singers everywhere. ♥

Love and Marriage

Being married for more than thirteen years does not make me an expert to relationship and family. But it is certain that those years made me the better person I am now and I hope that it is the same with my husband. I personally believe that keeping your marriage healthy, sparkling and smooth boils down to open communication and plain understanding. Aside from these two factors, there are other ways to keep you tied up to the man or woman you say "I Do". According to  Merriam- Webster  Dictionary, "Marriage is  the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law". But it is actually more than that. Time, effort, love, affection, acceptance, faithfulness and sincerity goes with marriage. If you are just starting a wonderful married life and you want to keep it till you are both old, you may want to consider the following ways to keep your happy lives together. Put Jesus Christ in
