Colosseum: Gladiators' Battleground

I can't forget the moment I stepped on the ground of this historic Flavian Amphitheatre. I thought I'm hearing the loud voices of spectators around the arena whose watching gladiators fight for their lives.

Colosseum was constructed 70-72AD. It is found at the heart of Piazza del Colosseo (Rome, Italy). The seating capacity of this elliptical amphitheatre is 50,000 spectators. Imagine how big is the place? This place is one of the popular tourist spots in Rome. I suggest that if you plan to go there, book your tickets online. This is to avoid the long queue and the big disappointment of not getting inside.

Colosseum admission fee:
Full ticket - €18.00

EU complimentary ticket- €6.00 (available only for EU citizens aged above 65 and under 18)

  11. Would definitely love to visit this place!

One of the great architecture of the old times but lots of blood spilled for mere entertainment. I am glad that we are not that brutal now but it somehow evolved to a different level like in boxing and MMA that people still get hurt for entertainment.

My Kind of Night

A simple cup of hot chocolate and a kiss from hubby and baby will be enough sweetness to end my day. I'm totally and truthfully grateful for God's love and continuous blessings on us. May we all have a good night sleep. Sweet dreams.
