Colosseum: Gladiators' Battleground

I can't forget the moment I stepped on the ground of this historic Flavian Amphitheatre. I thought I'm hearing the loud voices of spectators around the arena whose watching gladiators fight for their lives.

Colosseum was constructed 70-72AD. It is found at the heart of Piazza del Colosseo (Rome, Italy). The seating capacity of this elliptical amphitheatre is 50,000 spectators. Imagine how big is the place? This place is one of the popular tourist spots in Rome. I suggest that if you plan to go there, book your tickets online. This is to avoid the long queue and the big disappointment of not getting inside.

Colosseum admission fee:
Full ticket - €18.00
EU reduced ticket - €13.50 (available only for European citizens aged between 18 and 25)
EU complimentary ticket- €6.00 (available only for EU citizens aged above 65 and under 18)

Opening hours:
Mid February - mid March: 9 AM - 4.30 PM
Mid March - end March: 9 AM - 5.00 PM
End March - end August: 9 AM - 7.00 PM
End August - end Sept.: 9 AM - 6.30 PM
End Sept. - end October: 9 AM - 6.00 PM

  10. Would definitely love to visit this place!

One of the great architecture of the old times but lots of blood spilled for mere entertainment. I am glad that we are not that brutal now but it somehow evolved to a different level like in boxing and MMA that people still get hurt for entertainment.

Love and Marriage

Being married for more than thirteen years does not make me an expert to relationship and family. But it is certain that those years made me the better person I am now and I hope that it is the same with my husband. I personally believe that keeping your marriage healthy, sparkling and smooth boils down to open communication and plain understanding. Aside from these two factors, there are other ways to keep you tied up to the man or woman you say "I Do". According to  Merriam- Webster  Dictionary, "Marriage is  the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law". But it is actually more than that. Time, effort, love, affection, acceptance, faithfulness and sincerity goes with marriage. If you are just starting a wonderful married life and you want to keep it till you are both old, you may want to consider the following ways to keep your happy lives together. Put Jesus Christ in

House as Clean as a Hound's Tooth

It cannot be denied that  household cleaners  available in the market will give us outstanding results. But, are they truly safe for us to use? Be extra careful in choosing cleaning goods. Loads of toxic ingredients might be in the formulation and just waiting to attack. Toilet bowl cleaner for example has chlorinated phenol that are harmful in respiratory and circulatory system.
