I can't forget the moment I stepped on the ground of this historic Flavian Amphitheatre. I thought I'm hearing the loud voices of spectators around the arena whose watching gladiators fight for their lives. Colosseum was constructed 70-72AD. It is found at the heart of Piazza del Colosseo (Rome, Italy). The seating capacity of this elliptical amphitheatre is 50,000 spectators. Imagine how big is the place? This place is one of the popular tourist spots in Rome. I suggest that if you plan to go there, book your tickets online. This is to avoid the long queue and the big disappointment of not getting inside. Colosseum admission fee: Full ticket - €18.00 EU reduced ticket - €13.50 (available only for European citizens aged between 18 and 25) EU complimentary ticket- €6.00 (available only for EU citizens aged above 65 and under 18) Opening hours: Mid February - mid March: 9 AM - 4.30 PM Mid March - end March: 9 AM - 5.00 PM End March - end August: 9 AM - 7.00 PM
